Niko’s Moto ATV hire agency, Milos

I ultimately chose to rent an ATV in Adamas as it was closest to some of the destinations I wanted to explore. It was also the most affordable place to find an ATV rental because it’s a little off the typical tourist circuit.

You’ll notice below that it’s around the port and at the airport that you’ll find most of these rental companies.

It’s possible to book online in time for the high season. Prices don’t vary very much between ATV rental companies.

The most important thing when choosing ATV rentals is to choose a trustworthy company for your own safety and to have a stress-free vacation.

  • Most people don’t find driving an ATV difficult but you do risk injury or accidents happening if you don’t understand the fundamentals of using this type of vehicle.
  • It’s important to hire an ATV from a trustworthy company because that means that the vehicle will be in good condition and should have regular servicing. Check reviews on Tripadvisor before booking. For example, you’ll see good and bad reviews about Niko’s Moto. Some reviews say that they had excellent service, and others said the Niko’s Moto agency staff weren’t at all helpful!
  • Check that your travel insurance covers you driving an ATV in the event of an accident.
  • Fill up your gas tank before you start your journey or before you return it, depending on how the rental agreement is set up.

The Cost of an ATV Rental in Milos

If you’d like to rent an ATV just for a day, it’s possible to pay good prices as low as €40 per day, but this is for low cc models, such as 150cc or 200cc ATV’s.

Quad rental, Milos Island, Greece

The whole point of choosing an ATV rental though is to get off the main roads, and this means hilly and windy roads where a 425cc or even a 450cc model would give you more power to get up hills easily.

Of course, you need to feel confident to handle a moto with this much power. The cost of these more powerful ATVs is usually €65 to €75 per day to rent.

Tips for Finding Good Prices for ATV’s

  • Take a glance at Tripadvisor reviews because quad prices vary even at the same rental company at different times.
  • Try to negotiate on the price, especially if it’s not peak season or if you’re planning on having a buggy for more than a few days.
  • It is much cheaper to rent a moto or an ATV online, so if you’re planning to visit Milos for the summer holidays, make a booking in advance online. It’s difficult to get a quad at the last minute in July and August because of all the people who rented one online!
  • There are low-power and higher-power ATVs available: While you won’t need the most powerful, you will need one that can get you up some serious hills!
  • Ask for long-hire discounts because the ATV rental company will likely discount the daily rates if you want to rent by the week or month.
